  • There is a two night minimum stay on weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) during the high season.
  • Reservations are secured with a credit card.
  • Cancellation policy: 72 hour notice of reservation cancellation or one night stay plus tax will be charged to your credit card.
  • Check in time is between 3 and 6 pm, or by previous arrangement with the innkeeper.
  • Check out time is between 8 and 11 am.
  • We welcome families with children over age 10.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the building, on the porches or on the grounds.
  • We provide off-street parking in our lot beside the inn for one car per room. Each car must display the Cedars Inn parking permit on the dashboard. All others will be towed away at owner’s expense.
  • Room amenities: complimentary wireless internet access, cable TV, hairdryer.
  • We will gladly help you plan your activities while in Beaufort and assist with all-important dinner reservations.
  • NC State sales tax for the Inn is 6.75% and the Carteret County occupancy tax is 6% for the lodging – total tax is 12.75%
  • For special events such as weddings, reunions, corporate gatherings, etc…, a discounted rate is offered for reserving the entire Inn. A two night minimum with a 50% deposit is required to rent the entire property. Cancellation policy for this rental is one month advance notice or the deposit is forfeit.
  • The Cedars Inn offers one pet friendly accommodation, The Carolina Cottage.

    a) An additional pet fee of $25/night will be charged and all pets must be told about upon reservation.
    b) All pets must be current on all shots, flea medications, clean and non-aggressive.
    c) A $250 deposit will be held against any damage to the Cottage and refunded at check out time.
    d) Pets are never allowed in the main house or restaurant or on the furniture.
    e) All pets must be crated if left in the cottage unattended and owners must leave a cell phone number to contact in case of emergency or excessive barking.
    f) Aggressive or excessive barking dogs will be asked to leave the Inn and there will be no refund.
    g) All pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of.
